Sonic Transmissions Records is a direct result of the upheaval of 2020.
In March, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten was
visiting his native country Norway when the coronavirus pandemic shuttered Planet Earth.
Instead of trying to find a circuitous route to the States, he decided to relocate Trondheim after 14 years abroad, leaving his longtime Austin home, and start a record label.
